Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa’s talented chefs create a wonderful selection of dishes using impeccably sourced ingredients, combining immaculate presentation with fabulous flavours to offer seasonally inspired menus for lunch and dinner.

The Linden Restaurant is the perfect setting to enjoy a menu featuring traditional British food with a modern twist, while the Sandhurst Bar and Gold Room Lounge is the ideal location to enjoy your favourite cocktail or draught beer in a relaxed atmosphere.

When dining in The Linden Restaurant, the focaccia bread is great way to start the meal as the truffle butter adds a sense of luxury before you even taste the starters.

The slow roasted pig croquettes had the added crunch of pork popcorn and sweetness from the apple mayo. A good twist on a classic combo.

The calamari has a nice crunch with the addition of panko breadcrumbs in the coating. Brightness is brought to the flavours of the dish with the lemon and herb aioli.

Highland lamb loin had an added flavour that complemented the lamb with the addition of spiced chickpea cassoulet and a touch of complexity with the black olive caramel. We paired the lamb with a side of sweet potato fries.

The Stout braised short rib of beef was succulent and the Guinness glaze brought a comforting feeling perfect as the colder weather sets in. The Asian slaw added crunch but we decided to order some skin on fries because the sweet potato fries were so delicious.

Who could resist a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The butterscotch sauce is sure to delight those with a sweet tooth. The vanilla ice cream is a safe and customary compliment and allows the richness of the sticky toffee to stand on its own.

The chocolate brownie was served with salted caramel ice cream but I asked for a cherry sorbet to be substituted for a taste of the Black Forest.

There is also a good sized kids menu with a variety of dishes including a luxurious Wagyu beef burger, chicken goujons, penne pasta and fish & chips. For dessert, they also have a kids brownie or a healthier option of a fruit salad.
