Autumn arrives in suitably spectacular style at Odds Farm Park this October, where more than 15,000 pumpkins will transform the Buckinghamshire countryside into a seasonal playground for families.
The annual Pumpkin Festival returns to the farm near Beaconsfield from Saturday 3 October, running on selected dates through to Sunday 1 November, with plenty to keep younger visitors entertained alongside a few grown-up treats.
At the heart of the experience is the Pumpkin Patch, where every paying child visiting during the festival can choose their own free pumpkin to take home. Children can collect a wheelbarrow before heading out to select their favourite from a colourful collection of varieties, including Batwing, Casperita and Celebration.

For families wanting to turn their pumpkin into something suitably spooky, the Craft Barn provides a mess-free alternative to carving at home, with all the tools needed to create a Jack-O-Lantern. There will also be daily Halloween-inspired arts and crafts, giving younger visitors plenty of opportunities to get creative.
A highlight for families during half term is the Monster Mash Bash Show, taking place four times each day. With music, dancing and interactive entertainment from the friendly monster DJs Phluffy and Finz, the show promises plenty of energy for children who enjoy being part of the action rather than simply watching from the sidelines.

Pumpkin Central returns too, providing an autumnal setting filled with seasonal props and displays. It is an ideal backdrop for capturing those all-important family photographs, whether destined for the family album or a carefully curated Instagram feed.
The festival also makes the most of everything else Odds Farm Park has to offer. Alongside the autumn festivities, families can meet more than 30 breeds of animals, explore the outdoor adventure play areas, enjoy the tractor and trailer ride, cool off at H2Odds water play and take a spin on Marmalade’s Mini Rover rides. There is also an indoor soft play barn, making it easy to build a full day around the festival.

For families with older children, two Twilight Sessions on Saturday 10 and Saturday 24 October offer a later take on the festivities, running from 6pm. Then, on Friday 16 October, the adults get their own opportunity to embrace the season with a dedicated Adults Night. Guests will receive a free pumpkin, with circus performers and after-dark entertainment adding a more grown-up twist to the traditional pumpkin patch experience.
With prices starting at £18.95 and walk-up admission available, the Pumpkin Festival offers a straightforward way to make the most of the October half term. Whether the aim is to find the perfect pumpkin, embrace some creative carving or simply enjoy an autumn day in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Odds Farm Park provides plenty of reasons to make a seasonal family outing of it.
The Pumpkin Festival takes place on weekends throughout October: (3rd – 4th, 10th – 11th and 17th – 18th) and then 24th October – 1st November from 10am – 5.30pm. The Twilight Sessions take place on Saturday 10th and Saturday 24th from 6pm. The Adults Night is on Friday 16th October. Odds Farm Park is just minutes from Junction 2 of the M40, near Beaconsfield.
